by Vanessa Fox

Search engine optimization (SEO) isn’t a marketing gimmick, spammy scheme, or destroyer of web usability. It’s a fundamental building block of effective infrastructure design that ensures web applications can thrive in an online environment in which potential customers turn to search first. It also can dramatically improve site usability and visitor happiness.

Watch this space for design patterns, code snippets, case studies, and implementation techniques for elegant code that both ensures potential customers can find your site online as well as provides them a compelling experience once they arrive.

Thanks for the relevant posts. I wish you would do a comment about how to use the nofollow tag – as well as the external no follow tag.

Jessica February 16, 2009 at 1:40 am

Nofollow tags were designed only by Google right? Does Yahoo take account nofollow tags or not?

Thanks for the informative post..

Thanks for these presentations. I like the way you’ve made them. Very concise and directed SEO tips. And question: When you mention that only one H1 H2 or H3 tag is per page, do you mean that google only indexes a single H1 tag on the page, and drops any other H1 tag use?

Thanks!

“Architect” is not a verb. Thus, it cannot be conjugated.
